Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Welcomes the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) for the Field Visit to Monitor the “Reinventing University

On August 2, 2024, Mr. Phanperm Sak Aruni, Director of the Office of University Development and Innovation in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), along with his team, visited Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) to monitor the progress of the “Reinventing University” project for the fiscal year 2022. The visit was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Udon Namsen, Vice President of RMUTSV, Associate Professor Sithichoke Chanyong, Vice President of the Trang Campus, Associate Professor Dr. Khwanthai Jaipiem, Vice President of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, and other university executives, faculty members, and staff at the Chaloem Phra Kiat 80th Anniversary Building, 5 December 2007, RMUTSV Trang Campus.
During the visit, the committee from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (SPO, MHESI) toured an exhibition showcasing the activities supported by the university’s budget for the fiscal year 2022. One of the highlighted projects was the “Reinventing Modern Agricultural Learning with Innovation and Integrated Knowledge”, along with the “Enhancing the Potential of the Phatthalung Pepper Business Entrepreneurs Towards Competitive Opportunities in Trang”, which won an award for excellence in utilizing knowledge, intellectual property, technology, innovation, and academic services to improve the potential of production and service sectors. This award was part of the Outstanding Higher Education Institutions Competition in the Technology Development and Innovation Promotion Group organized by SPO, MHESI.
At 1:00 PM, the project’s progress was formally presented, including the “Reinventing Modern Agricultural Learning with Innovation and Integrated Knowledge” project. The presentation included feedback from entrepreneurs involved in the project. Following the presentations, the committee provided suggestions and development strategies for continuing the project in the future.
