The Policy & Planning Division is a support unit for educational management under the office of the president. It was established as a division according to the ministry of education announcement dated october 3, 2007 (Royal Gazette, 2007, page 13). Its mission includes planning and directing university development, analyzing and researching policies, budgets, plans, and projects, monitoring and evaluating operations, collecting information, and analyzing resource needs. The division provides data to aid university executives in decision-making. The operations are conducted within the scope of responsibilities defined by the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. The internal structure of the Policy & Planning Division is divided into five sections, each with distinct missions and responsibilities, as detailed below
